EVERY COMMUNITY AIMS AT SOME GOOD

Aristotle's dictum in his book on politics intrigues any inquisitive mind of twenty first century especially in the backdrop of current management of the states and unions. It curries the weight of truth as much as it seems twisted. First it begs to answer the question of what is good and to whom does it accrue. The concept of good in a liberal world may be very confusing.

We may need to revisit the wisdom of Thomas Paine in his book common sense to have an understanding of what we humans mean for eachother and what government means for us. T Paine looks at the government as a leash for humans to avoid bad behaviour. He also reflected on society as a product of human goodness. Thus Aristotle and T Paine agree that government should be  guide to goodness to achieve great societies.

A lot of governments are run by the filth of the society. They have the means to grab the leash and extend it to fit their appetite. Thus governments are failing to achieve their object. So the world seems to look evil.

However, there is hope in every member of human community.There is hope that all humans wish to be happy. There is hope that everyone wishes to be free from harm. There is hope that deep inside people hope to be loved and hope to love back.

In every human there is some good despite our different values. Thus humans are good. We may need to amplify it somehow. 

If the good people live without fear, there is hope that human goodness will shine. If the good men make a point and take the reigns, the government shall achieve its object.

THE FORMER DAYS WERE NO BETTER

Th qoheleth said that that from foolishness comes the thought that the former days were better than today. However, often all the things you have been through and all the thought that have crossed your mind have brought you to where you are.

It is rarely anyone's fault  other than you that you are where you are. You live the life you have been preparing for up to that day. Always look at the possible outcomes of each action.

It is also important to note that hard times are not necessarily bad times. Easy times are not necessarily good times. Think about the long time benefits of the times you are living in.

Appreciate each day because that is the best you have. Hope for brighter days but don't ignore the light that this day has. Know that all you hope to achieve is anchored on this day. However today ends be happy, it made you better and brought you closer to your shout of victory.

BE EXCELLENT AT WHAT YOU DO

I have done a lot of things but one thing that I have learnt is the heaviest burden is mediocrity. It has come to my realization that every extra effort is rewarded and everything mediocre is punished.

I have seen that there are a lot of people who do what you do but only the best survive. Be the best at whatever you do or another person will be hired to do it. 

Everyone you meet has a problem so there is never enough excuse not todo what you should do and do it well.

Learn to own your failures because they belong to you. Use them for your growth and try that they never weigh down on you. You will definitely suffer whip lashes of your drowbacks but pick your self from them.

Be better than you were yesterday and fight your weaknesses vehemently. Strive for better, and never give up hope. Tomorrow the sun will rise again and if air fills your lungs there is still the ability to achieve excellence.

NO ONE HAS TO UNDERSTAND

If you think it is right then it is right. If you think it is wrong by you then that is what it is. From your DNA to your signature you are a unique entity. Embracing this uniqueness brings forth genius. Repressing your uniqueness kills your potential and holds back the chance the human race have to do something new.

What you think and do does not have to be excellent to the world the first time you do it. Just shine a light and let others candles pick a fire from it and you will be amazed. For instance, the plane made by the right brothers was not as excellent as the ones we use to day yet they lit the candle and let the fire go wild.

Sometimes you bring forth a new idea and other times you perfect an old idea. The satisfaction is always the same. Just put your genius into an old idea to make it brand new.

Sometimes people will not approve your new idea because they fear you will fail. Others may stop you so that you don't shine better than them. Whichever the reason they have, just do what you believe is right. Your genius is scary, just press on any way.

I don't know what you wish to do, just get up and do something new.

POWER OF A VISION

 You can travel as far as or further than your imagination. However, your imagination has to be have to take a direction. You can only go in the direction of your vision and no other. A lot of things happen around us but if you know you are pressing you will definitely find your self in the right direction.

Every thought as action and word have consequences. The outcome of every action could be what it was intended be, however there are always unintended results from every decision made. None of these outcomes is less important, however, you must know that which you intend to give prominence. That determines the direction you will go in life.

Things may happen that you never planned for in life. Always look for what you can take from everyone of them. Whether it is an opportunity, a lesson or a relationship. Pick it up, there are things that happen for no reason but there is always something in there for you.

All in all, every road in life leads to where you want to go to as long as you are in the right direction. It may take too long to get there. However, as long as the vision still is in you then it is achievable. It is only impossible to achieve it only if the vision dies or you die.
